Rite of the Womb
at Meridian
“It is my prayer that together we will welcome the wisdom of women back into the collective field, where it may help to transform the human family and heal the ravaged earth.”
~Mirabai Starr, Wild Mercy
Introduction:
I (Danielle) received the Rite of the Womb as the final rite of the Munay-Ki, a series of 10 shamanic healing initiations, rooted in the Amazon and Peruvian Andes. These were offered to me by my beloved mentor and friend, Jane Joy Sparks, whom I encountered during my reiki training. Jane is a certified energy medicine practitioner through the Four Winds Society.
When one receives the rites, one is then encouraged to share them as one feels called. I’ve heard many women asking for this in their own way recently, and decided it was time to share it in this way. Jane has graciously agreed to join me in this offering.
You will receive more context at the beginning of the ceremony and are free to reach out with questions, if you are curious but still unsure.
The Rite of the Womb is for all, but may be especially meaningful to you if:
you want to celebrate or support your womb-li-ness in ceremony
you are in the process of healing from womb-centered trauma or illness
you want to revive the sacred feminine, personally and/or globally
you are seeking to release that which no longer serves you
you want to open or reinvigorate your creative energy and power
you simply want to connect with others holding feminine energy and sisterhood
